Adult Ministries (Updated February 20, 2008)

The goal at Walnut Hills is to create a wide range of small groups, service, and social justice opportunities for adults to connect and share their spiritual journeys. For more detailed information, please click on this link:  Small Groups

Adult Education

Classes are offered Sunday mornings, September – May, and run concurrently with the children and youth programming from 9:30 – 10:30 a.m.

Classes are offered Wednesday evenings, September – May, and also run concurrently with the children’s programming, from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m.

There are other offerings on weekdays and evenings, check the small group page for updated listings.

Adult Fellowship Groups

Walnut Hills has many fellowship groups which offer an opportunity for individuals with like interests to meet and develop community together. Check the small group page for specific listings and contact information.

If you have an interest in a specific area and don’t see a group that meets your needs, please contact Susan Guy.

Adult Recreational Activities

Many of our Walnut Hills members and friends enjoy participating in recreational and leisure activities, such as softball, basketball, volleyball, bicycling, and golf. A complete list is available on our small group page, with contact information.

Service to the Community

The community of Walnut Hills takes seriously its vision that we are “sent forth to serve.” We participate in a variety of community organizations and programs, such as meal programs, volunteering, and partnerships. For a complete listing, please visit our Service page on the web site.

Social Justice

At the heart of Walnut Hills ministry is a commitment not only to help those in need, but to look at systems which keep people in poverty and on the margins of our society. We invite you to learn more fully about our justice partnerships by visiting our Justice page on the web site.
